The Board of Regents is responsible for overseeing the four University of Colorado locations and ensuring that they operate at high standards.
​
Regents use their diverse backgrounds to guide the school in setting policies, approving budgets, and overseeing the administration.
Recently, the CU Board of Regents:

Introduced a plan to expand the collective bargaining rights of faculty, staff, and student workers.
-
Set preliminary budgets including an increase in tuition cost
-
Established Education Innovations Denver, a nonprofit who will work on developing partnerships between CU and the community.
