Why Running
When we can't afford food, struggle to pay rent, a mortgage, or medical bills, and feel our personal freedoms are at risk of being taken away, we can feel stressed, anxious and even depressed. This is why I say, "Every issue is a mental health issue." I am running because I believe this country needs someone who is trained to not only listen, but a leader who will advocate and fight for fair policies that take care of all Americans, regardless of political affiliation. My focus will be to stop the cycle of stress and help our country feel heard, healthier, and protected.
Policy Positions
Health Care: Supports affordable, accessible health care and recognizes that mental health and medical access are core economic issues. Prioritizes protecting Medicare and Medicaid, keeping rural hospitals open, expanding scientific research, and ensuring women can make their own health care decisions.
Security: Advocates for strong border security while allowing vetted individuals to enter legally and creating pathways for needed migrant labor. Backs funding for police, first responders, and the military; supports responsible firearm laws including red flag measures; strengthens services for military families; and maintains Space Command in Colorado.
Fiscal Responsibility: Promotes a fairer tax balance where the wealthiest pay their share while middle‑ and low‑income workers see relief. Emphasizes transparency, reducing inflation and national debt, protecting Social Security and Medicare, supporting small businesses, reforming campaign finance, investing in public education, and opposing harmful tariffs.
Land Usage: Elevates the voices of landowners and farmers while protecting Colorado’s natural spaces and ensuring outdoor recreation remains affordable for residents. Supports long‑term planning on water, land, energy, and development, and backs farmers facing the impacts of tariffs.
