FORT COLLINS DEMONSTRATION INFORMATION

CIVIC CENTER PARK
March 28 starting at 10am

About the Rally

COMMUNITY NOT KINGS!

Join us at Civic Center Park on March 28 to show this administration that across Northern Colorado we embrace our community and we reject tyranny.

We stop authoritarianism by showing up.

In October, over 17,000 people turned out for one of several No Kings Rallies in Northern Colorado.  Commit to attending and bringing at least one additional person who has not attended a rally in the past. Let's increase attendance to at least 20,000! â€‹â€‹

The Fort Collins event will highlight community-based organizations that reflect our theme of Community Not Kings. Local community organizations will host tables with information on how you can get involved.

Rally attendees will have a full hour - starting at 10 am before the program begins - to visit the tables, meet organizers, and discover concrete ways to plug into the Northern Colorado community. Tables will remain until around 2 pm so that you can visit them as you wait to join the march or upon returning to the park after the march.

Our speakers will feature Reverend Gretchen Haley from the Foothills Unitarian Church who will talk about community organizing and her experience on the front lines of Minnesota.

And then - we will march again through the streets of Fort Collins!

Messaging

There is so much to protest against right now.

When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. America does not belong to lawless strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule through fear. America belongs to us, the people.

We request that your signs reflect the core message of this demonstration - Community not Kings. â€‹â€‹

Sign Making Events

Join IndivisibleNOCO’s Poster Making Team for one of our poster making events! Marching is more fun when you’re proud of your sign! We provide the supplies - you just show up and have fun creating your masterpiece! Our Poster Parties begin on Wednesday March 25 from 5:30-7:30pm on the back patio at Avogadro’s. Thursday’s Poster Fun will be in conjunction with the Strum, a Singing Resistance Sing- A-Long at the Lyric’s outdoor stage beginning at 6:30.  On Friday stop by the Council Tree Library between 1:00 and 3:00. If you can’t make any of these events, come to the poster tables at the No King’s event in Civic Center Park!

Singing Resistance

The Singing Resistance is a Minneapolis-based grassroots movement that uses collective song as a nonviolent, direct-action tool against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions. Emerging in January 2026, it involves thousands of participants singing protest songs to foster solidarity, grieve, and resist ICE initiatives.

The Singing Resistance has spread to Fort Collins and will lead protestors in collective song during the No Kings 3 march. Download these lyrics and listen to the songs so that you will be ready to join in on Saturday!

  • Serve as a safety marshal (sign up here)

  • Lead chants

  • Organize a food drive

  • Coordinate poster making

If you are interested, please email us at events@indivisiblenoco.com with your first and last name, email address and phone number. Be sure to let us know how you would like to help!

The March Route

Tables at the Rally

The third No Kings event in Fort Collins will spotlight organizations that defend democracy, resist authoritarianism, represent communities affected by the regime’s actions, and serve the Northern Colorado community. These groups will host tables with ways to get involved.

Download the NK3 App!

Download the No Kings App, visit tables and fill up a Bingo card. The app contains all kinds of information about the rally, the organizations, and ways to get involved in the community. If you have an iPhone, the app is still in test mode - but it works!

PEACEFUL PROTEST

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.

Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Parking and Transportation

If you are able, we suggest biking or walking to the rally.

If you drive, we suggest parking at one of the public parking garages downtown or parking south of the event and taking public transportation to the park.

Please be aware that the march route goes in front  of the Laporte lot, so egress may be difficult once the march begins.

Help Us Fund Our Demonstrations

IndivisibleNOCO is an all-volunteer organization and relies on donations from our community to fund our activities.  Rallies can cost over $2,000 after we pay for  port-a-potties, radios, safety vests, poster making materials and more.  Please consider a donation to help us defray these costs so that we can continue to host community rallies and other events.  Thank you!

Poster Making at the Rally

Arrive early to the rally and make a poster with IndivisibleNOCO volunteers! We will have tables with poster-making supplies, so join us for some fun and camaraderie starting at 9:30 am.

Food Bank Collections

Look for the table where IndivisibleNOCO Volunteers are collecting food donations for the Larimer County Food Bank. Please consider bringing a donation to support our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. The top five requested items are: macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, canned tuna, chicken or salmon, baby wipes and baby diapers (preemie and sizes 5, 6, & 7).

Accessibility

IndivisibleNOCO will designate an ADA area. Please respect that area and provide access to individuals with mobility challenges.

If walking the march route feels daunting, consider finding a place along the route to hold up your signs and cheers the marchers on.

The program on stage will be ASL accessible.

Police Presence

Fort Collins Police Services will have a presence in the area of the demonstration.

IndivisibleNOCO has been working with FCPS to create a safe environment for us to hold this rally. They will be in the area of the rally and along the march route, directing traffic and providing general security. Their role is to help keep us safe. Please cooperate and follow their instructions.

They will use drones to help with security. If you see a drone, don’t panic! They are there for our safety - not for collecting video of the protest.

Chants

Prepare for the rally by learning some chants! Chant leaders will lead the chants (with lower power megaphones than in past rallies) and you can prepare for the rally by learning some chants. We could use some more chant leaders so if you have a knack for inspiring a crowd (or just want to use a megaphone) email events@indivisiblenoco.com.

Visit www.indivisiblenoco/com/chants or scan this QR code on your phone to view them while at the rally.
