You, Me, Fort Collins, everyone is confronted on three sides by

• Blowback from the Holocaust in Gaza

• Climate catastrophe

• The rise of full-blown fascism in the United States

Someone is going to have to save your bacon!

Increasingly, our municipal government is experiencing a crisis in  legitimacy. This goes back at least as far as the Patricia Babbitt  campaign. 11% of the vote to a write-in candidate? They put a stop to  write-in candidates.

Some people can't even count as high as seven candidates, or so they'd  have you believe. I count seven different protest movements in chambers.  I count seven of nine planetary boundaries breached. And for the last  three decades, any authoritative prediction  made about the future state of the environment has always come out worse.

Why should we trust the municipal government to keep its word about a  trash-free city, about Our Climate Future? Do we trust them to end our  complicity with Israel? So far, Woodward, HP Enterprise, and the  Israel-Colorado Innovation Fund (ICI Fund) have gotten  off the hook. You get silence. Silence is violence.

So when parents of a four-year old autistic child come to chambers  looking for justice for a brutal assault, I worry. I worry because HPE  actively secures the infamous facility at Sde Teiman detention camp  where so many brutal assaults are reported—and they  do nothing about it despite the history of apartheid in South Africa  and their 1985 declaration to promulgate rules and regulations  concerning such apartheid practices. They do nothing despite stand  behind the 'incubation' of a mutual fund which acquired all  the artificially intelligent means for quick expansion of conquered  territory.

Think about it.

When you marry a nation conceived in the idea that a decent respect for  the rights of Man is fundamental—to a nation conceived in expansion—then  you are going to have a bad time.

When you put off any such remedy to the notion that we can wait to  finish off the last fossil fuels like pizza. In Conehead: "Must consume  mass quantities!" Drill baby drill is stupid, and I don't care if you  give a mean blowie in the theater or not, I can't  abide it. We've pushed it so hard even Al Gore is spitting cope. 3  years? 3 years after net zero we level to beat this? Try 20. Try  "Greater committed warming after accounting for the pattern effect"  (Nature). Try "Increasing risk of great floods in a changing  climate" (Nature). Or try "Implications of climate change for the US  Army" (Army War College) if you are science-averse or  logistics-pragmatic. The timetable can't be trusted because Garbage In,  Garbage Out. We blow it every time. The source is professional  and solid. This means:

• supply chain vulnerabilities

• infrastructure vulnerabilities

• legitimacy vulnerabilities

• heat death

• catastrophic damage to people and infrastructure

• food insecurity

• and water stress

Like I said, I can count to seven.

You should be a little concerned. A self-identified Monster who can  count to seven is not usually the ideal candidate to set the priorities  of this city. None of the other candidates can seem to identify what ails us. How can they set priorities? For some,  even friends of Mine, Beer, Bikes, and Bands seem more urgent. I don't  oppose Beer, Bikes, and Bands. I love Me some Beer, Bikes, and Bands.

But you sure as shingles better get you some Connected and Rooted. We  must Mob Up, Branch Out, and Dig In. Unpack that how you like. It works  for housing, transit, regional security, labor and therefore women's  rights, information and therefore good against  ICE, and against the fear of Israeli direction and interference. That's  not possible when we are Connected and Rooted.

Rooted in facts. There is a Stage 5 famine driven and regulated by  Israel by means of not only industrial scale but the speed of artificial  intelligence. This makes it unique among holocausts. Fact: Osama bin  Laden was motivated by the oppression of the Palestinian  people. Fact: The world used to spend $1T on conflict in West Asia and  North Africa. (Esber) Now it's worse.

It's all much worse. We cater to the "stakeholders", meaning by and  large the corporation. None of the other candidates understand and speak  explicitly to the corporate nature of the two major parties. Seemingly  even many neighbors aren't bothered, either.  Polling suggests that these two parties merit the lion's share of  votes. Should we trust corporations? We must have trusted NCR after they  empowered the Nazis administrative capacity for concentration camps.  Gang Likud, Belazel Smotrich, and HPE seem similarly  in lock step. What's the lesson here? Is the US convinced it can  integrate crimes against humanity? Is opposition to this really so  "exclusionist" that we need to respect the opinion that we are ok  repeating Majorly Bad History.

Some of you may not know that I am intelligence-adjacent. This means I  had a step-father in Army Intelligence. I am a secret agent for the  LGBTQIA. PLUS, I am a personal friend of the Madame Director of National  Intelligence. Now while she is flooding the space  with digraphs, let's get back to My personal favorite: Trust and  Consent.

I'm not asking for your trust as some kind of immaculate. I'm not a pure  man. I'm asking for your trust to use all My innate lack of synapse  pruning, attention to forecasts, and PTSD hypervigilance to be a  complete Monster. Not a half-baked Cryptid but the  real deal. We know what happens in a lawless time where the  foundational requirements of a society are not met. The Time of  Monsters. And this is especially troubling because there is also a  vision for creating a whole new world from the ashes. Someone will  have to fight dirty. Someone will have to change the rules.

Every polite measure which allows us passage into the vortex ain't valid.  MIT says we could be looking at civilization collapse by 2040. When you  look at where else the predicted outcome of Business As Usual is taking  us, let's start at the present.  Peak food. But the downturn in numbers for livestock and crop yields is  a Jenga tower falling. The simulation which defines our present-day  situation calculated in 1972 didn't account for entire food chains. It  didn't count on the disasters predicated by a  rise of 1.5C. What you're about to see is not a pretty calculus curve  down. It's chaos

Yet because of the determinism of such events, we might prevail. We  might yet become unstoppable. We might find the new world you've been  living for. I will not be Erin Black'd. I have no shame. Judges must  learn to accept that decades of "I feared for my life"  have weight. It is rational to fear and take action. It is rational to  oppose obstacles to our survival with as much vigor as one might expect  in the Land of the Free.

Do we understand how we secured any freedom to begin with? One must be  brave. It's no vice to a community to Be Bold. I've learned that over 13  years as a Wikipedia editor. But let's be clear: lives are already at  stake. If I can speak cordially to the police  and help make sure a man with a knife only gets a bullet in the leg,  that's one life. I mean to stick to Vision Zero, and respect the rights  of not only Fort Collins Police Services, but also their Union. If they  would further empower more unions, they would  find us at their civil back, unless we are dreaming.

Indivisible means Indivisible.

Know that deep down, nearly every officer is responding to a deep  injustice and made that their personality. Will others also step up in  their way and be willing not just to work toward but interpose ones life  from the injustices we see? This is not only why  I marched with Black Lives Matter. We can give women at least one night  without fear, and that's why I stood with Take Back the Night. Children  are starved, bombed, dismembered, displaced, orphaned, mutilated, and  even shot in the head for kissing a mercenary's  hand in gratitude over food. If a mercenary can speak up, what are My  opponents?

I will give anyone the business if they stand in My way. I promise. Win  or lose, I've seen what idle talk, semantics, and vagueposting are doing  to this City. I promise that if you trust a Monster, that My motives  are as clear as I may make them, if you enthusiastically  consent with forewarning of the good, the bad, and the ugly, I will  confront the threat with maximum force. We will not make the fatal error  of believing what happens elsewhere has no bearing on life in the  Choice City. We have to make better choices.

Therefore, I humbly request your blessing, no matter how loud the  propaganda machine cries about it. We will make sure the oppressed have a  voice in government and give them the faith to prevail.
