Ballot Issue 1A: Community Resilience and Needs Sales Tax

Ballot Issue 1A is a dedicated 0.3% (30 cents on $100 purchase) sales tax to protect Larimer County’s water, forests, roads, and public safety. Everyday essentials are not affected.
The proposal would fund wildfire protection, natural disaster preparedness, road and bridge safety, and critical community services. Revenues generated would be subject to annual independent financial audits. The measure strengthens the county's services by making sure local disaster response, road safety, and community services work together to protect residents.

This is about protecting the watershed that supplies drinking water across Larimer County, from Fort Collins to Loveland and beyond. It is about our safety: faster wildfire prevention and emergency response. Every dollar invested in prevention today saves far more in recovery costs later.
